The 1st International Conference on Science and Humanities for Sustainable Development was held on 23-24 October 2025, organised by theDhaka University of Engineering & Technology (DUET), Gazipur and aimed to advance interdisciplinary dialogue on sustainability. The conference featured scholarly presentations and thematic discussions on public policy, tourism, gender empowerment, and artificial intelligence.

Dr. S. M. Khaled Hossain served as a Session Chair, and Dr. Md. Rahat Khan served as both a Session Chair and an Invited Speaker, representing the Army IBA, Savar.

The event was inaugurated by the Honourable UGC Chairman and attended by Vice-Chancellors of several leading universities, alongside participants from the USA, Japan, China, Malaysia, India, Sri Lanka, and Bangladesh.

Their involvement strengthened Army IBA’s academic visibility and concluded with a positive, forward-looking outlook.
