Business Administration–Army IBA, Savar, proudly hosted its 1st Finance Seminar titled “The Capital Structure Puzzle and Its Interaction with Corporate Governance: Bridging Theory and Practice in Bangladesh.” The event brought together distinguished experts who enriched participants with valuable academic and practical insights.

Dr. Mohammed Sawkat Hossain, Professor, Department of Finance & Banking, Jahangirnagar University, offered an insightful discussion on the complexities of the capital structure puzzle.

Mr. Nafiul Hasan, Associate Manager, Branch Governance, BRAC Bank PLC, presented a practical and engaging perspective on corporate governance, emphasizing ethics, transparency, and sustainability.

The event was graced by Brigadier General Syed Mohammad Shahed Rahman (Retd.), Director of Army IBA, as Chief Guest. Held on October 19, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Army IBA Auditorium, the seminar successfully bridged theoretical concepts with real-world applications.
