Army IBA Research & Development Club organized the “Research Ideation – 2025” Grand Finale to encourage research-driven entrepreneurial and start-up ideas among students. In the finale, six finalist teams presented their innovative research concepts and explained how their ideas could address practical business and societal challenges. Each presentation was evaluated on creativity, feasibility, and research depth, followed by constructive expert feedback. The session also highlighted the importance of linking research with real-world entrepreneurial practice.

The event was enlightened by Chief Guest Brig. Gen Syed Mohammad Shahed Rahman, MBA, MDS, M.Sc, nswc, afwc, psc (Retd), Director, Army IBA; Special Guest Lt Col Md Mizanur Rahman Shah Chowdhury, EME (Retd), Additional Director, Army IBA; Guest of Honour Brig. Gen M Mofizur Rahman, psc, PEng, CMC (Retd), Lead Consultant and CEO, R&G Consulting; Club Advisor Dr. S. M. Khaled Hossain, and the panel of judges comprising Prof. Md. Zahir Uddin Arif (Former Chairman, Department of Marketing, Jagannath University), Ms. Jinia Afroz Sharmin and Dr. Md. Rahat Khan, Faculty Members of Army IBA Savar.

The young researchers showcased strong academic thinking and entrepreneurial confidence, receiving expert guidance to further refine and implement their ideas. The event successfully motivated students to continue research beyond the classroom. Overall, the program fostered a vibrant academic environment and further strengthened the research culture at Army IBA Savar.
