BBA program of AIBA is designed to produce graduates with the state-of-the-art knowledge, skills and understanding of the functioning of modern business enterprise. The purpose of the program is to acquaint students with the different business theories and their real world applications from economic, social, cultural, technological, global, and managerial perspectives. The program is a very rigorous one and is expected to prepare and empower students in pursuing a successful career in business management. The program is a step towards meeting the professional challenges of the 21st century.

 

A total of 126 credit hours have to be completed by the students in 40 taught courses including 6 elective courses for doing major, an internship project of 3 credits and viva voce of 3 credits. The students have to appear at a viva voce  at the end of last semester. 

 

The program is structured into 8 regular semesters. A semester is of 26 weeks duration of which 18 week are for classes. Usual course load is 15 credits in 5 courses in each regular semester. A student is required to attend 6 courses (18 credits) to do major in a particular area. On completion of all course works, students have to do an internship assignment. Following the completion of organizational attachment of 16 weeks, students prepare reports on their internship experiences that are to be defended in a formal presentation.
